These can be found directly in nature or some require human intervention (processing) to make them usable.
Why natural materials?
Natural materials are safer for us as well as the environment than artificial materials. Materials like wood, bamboo, straw, sawdust are all natural materials. Locally produced natural materials are biodegradable so there is no need for incineration which contributes to air pollution. The quality of natural materials is better and durable than artificial materials which means less waste in the landfills. Also, artificial materials are potentially dangerous for our health as well, so that risk is lowered when using natural materials.
